Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the second respondent with respect to impugned order passed in Emp.No.76/2018/PAD dated 25.9.2018, quash the same and consequently direct the second respondent to transfer the petitioner to his earlier position as General Manager, Head Office, Chennai.

O R D E R

The temporary transfer order issued to the writ petitioner, which was extended for a further period upto 30.4.2019 for effective business promotion, is under challenge in the present writ petition.

2. The learned Senior Counsel, appearing on behalf of the second respondent-Bank, made a submission that during the pendency of the writ petition, the writ petitioner was demoted to a lower post and transferred to some other place.

3. This being the factum, the cause aroused for the purpose of filing of the present writ petition became vanished. Thus, no further adjudication needs to be entertained in respect of the grounds raised in the present writ petition and it is for the writ petitioner to challenge any subsequent order, if at all he is aggrieved.

4. With the above observations, the writ petition stands closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
