O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking for a direction to direct the respondent police to register an FIR pursuant to the order passed by the Judicial Magistrate No.V, Salem, under Section 156 (3) of Cr.P.C.

2. It is seen from the records that the Judicial Magistrate No.V, Salem, has passed an order dated 19.06.2018 in C.M.P.No.2921 of 2018, wherein, the respondent police was directed to register an FIR, if a cognizable http://www.judis.nic.in

ub/ssr is made out and also file a final report on or before 26.07.2018. In spite of passing such a specific order, the respondent police has failed to register the FIR. In the considered view of this Court, this amounts to violating the order of the Court below. This Court, strongly condemn the attitude of the respondents in not complying with the orders of the Judicial Magistrate No.V, Salem.

3. In the facts and circumstances, there shall be a direction to the respondent police to register the FIR within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
