ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for direction directing the respondents 1 to 3 to provide police protection to the petitioner Company premises at Plot No.A43 to A48, Electronic Park, PIPDIC, Thirubuvanai, Puducherry-605 107.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. It is seen that at the time of admitting the writ petition, this Court by an order dated 22.11.2018 granted police protection as follows:- " 5. There shall be a direction to the third respondent to provide police protection to the petitioner and the third respondent shall ensure that the free ingress and egress to the Factory premises is not prevented by the persons belonging to the fourth respondent/Union and the persons claiming under them. The third respondent shall also ensure that no law and order problem is created near the Factory premises and action shall be taken against any person who indulges in creating the law and order problem. If at all the fourth respondent wants to continue the strike, the same shall be conducted at a distance in such a way that it does not prevent the ingress and egress and also free movement of the workers, officers and executives belonging to the petitioner's company, to and from the Factory premises."

4. The third respondent is directed to continue the police protection as directed by this Court whenever it arises.

5. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
