ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the Judicial Magistrate, Mettupalayam, Coimbatore District, to complete the trial and dispose of the case in M.C.No.8 of 2015 pending on his file as expeditiously as possible within the time stipulation as prescribed by this Court.

2. It is seen from records that the marriage was solmenized between the petitioner and the first respondent on 14.06.2010. Thereafter, a male child was born on 15.03.2011.Subsequently, the marriage ran into rough weather. Thereafter, she left the matrimonial home on her own accord. Thereupon, she filed a petition for divorce and she has also filed a petition for maintenance in M.C.No.8 of 2015 and the same is pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Mettupalayam, Coimbatore District.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the first respondent is harassing the petitioner by making him dragged from Madurai to Mettupalayan for attending the hearings https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

of the said case. He would further submit that though the petitioner has appeared several times for hearing, the first respondent is protracting the proceedings. He would further submit that the maintenance case is of the year 2015 and hence, the petitioner seeks to proceed with the case in a speedy manner.

4. Taking into consideration the facts of the case, there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Mettupalayam, Coimbatore District, to dispose of the case in M.C.No.8 of 2015 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
