ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction, directing the learned Judicial Magistrate, Mettupalayam, Coimbatore District to complete the trial and dispose of the case in D.V.A.No.4 of 2015 pending on his file as expeditiously as possible within the time stipulation as prescribed by this Court.

2. It is seen from records that the marriage was solemnized between the petitioner and the respondent on 14.06.2010. Out of the wedlock, a male child was born. Subsequently, the marriage ran into rough weather. Thereafter, she left the matrimonial home and started staying with her parents. Thereupon, the respondent initiated proceedings under Section 12 of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2002 in D.V.A.No.4 of 2015 before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Mettupalayam, Coimbatore District against the petitioner and his family members.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the trial in this case is pending for the past two years. He would further submit that the case is being adjourned time and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

again and the trial itself has not effectively started in this case.

4. Taking into consideration the facts of the case, there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Mettupalayam, Coimbatore District, to dispose of the case in D.V.A.No.4 of 2015, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
