2.On the request made by the petitioner seeking community certificate to his son, an enquiry was directed to be conducted. Though the application of the petitioner was dated 30.12.2016, a final decision is yet to be taken and hence the present writ petition.

3.Taking into consideration the limited scope of the prayer sought for, a direction is issued to the second respondent to pass appropriate orders on the application of the petitioner dated 30.12.2016 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
