O R D E R

The present Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent, to register the sale deed dated 29.08.2018 in favour of the petitioner, kept as a pending Document No.P/Dharapuram/54/2018 and return the same within a stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court.

2. According to the petitioner, the agriculture properties measuring an extent of 2.14.0 Hectares, comprised in S.No.68/1A, measuring an extent of 0.14.0 Hectares comprised in S.No.68/1B and measuring an extent of 0.04.0 Hectares out of 0.08.0 Hectares, in all measuring a total extent of 2.32.0 Hectares or 5.73 acres under Patta No.318 and 215, Periyakumarapalaym Village, Dharapuram Taluk, Tiruppur District, belong to (1) Nachimuthu Gounder, (2) Maheswari and (3) https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Manimegalai and they sold the said properties in favour of the petitioner by sale deed dated 29.08.2018 for a sale consideration of Rs.21,12,000/- and after payment of proper stamp duty and registration charges, he presented the said document on 30.08.2018 before the respondent for registration. He has also filed necessary documents in support of the sale deed, but, as of now, the sale deed has not been registered and the same was kept as a pending document.

3. Heard Mr.T.M.Pappiah, Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made on either side, this Court directs the petitioner to produce the documents supporting title deeds including patta and present before the respondent and the respondent is directed to verify and register the same, if the documents are otherwise in order, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
