ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the FIR in Cr.No.14 of 2018, pending on the file of the first respondent police. The petitioner and the second respondent are the husband and wife. Based on the complaint given by the second respondent on 12.08.2018, an FIR has been registered by the respondent police in Cr.No.14 of 2018 for an offence under Section 498 A of IPC.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions would submit that the investigation is midway and it will be https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

completed within a short time.

3. This Court does not want to interfere with the investigation at this stage and the respondent police must be permitted to complete the investigation within a time fixed by this Court.

4. Hence, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to complete the investigation and file a final report or a closure report, as the case may be, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
