Prayer: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing respondent to consider the representation dated 15.09.2018 and consequently direct the respondent to execute the rectification deed in respect of the property in the sale deed dated 05.10.2007 registered as document No.11 of 2008 at S.R.O. T.Nagar by mentioning correct Village name of the property as T.Nagar instead of Mambalam which has been wrongly mentioned in the sale deed.

By consent, this Writ Petition is taken for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent to consider the representation dated 15.09.2018 and consequently direct the respondent to execute the rectification deed in respect of the property in the sale deed dated 05.10.2007 registered as document No.11 of 2008 at S.R.O. T.Nagar by mentioning correct Village name of the property as T.Nagar instead of Mambalam which has been wrongly mentioned in the sale deed.

3.According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner made a representation to the respondent on 15.09.2018, seeking to correct the name of the village in respect of the petitioner's property, in the sale deed dated 05.10.2007 as T.Nagar and to execute the rectification deed. Since no action has been taken on the said representation till date, the petitioner has come forward with this Writ petition seeking for the aforesaid relief.

4. Heard Mr.S.Prabhu, learned Standing counsel, who takes notice on behalf of the respondent.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made on either side, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the representation, directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 15.09.2018 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, as well as any of the interested parties, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
