ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) The petitioner is seeking directions to respondents 1 to 3 to take appropriate action to remove the unauthorized construction and idol existing at Itteri Road, Krishnan Pudhur, Ammapettai, Salem District.

2. The learned Government Pleader (i/c.), who is representing the first respondent, i.e., the District Collector, Salem District, and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondents 2 and 3, i.e., the Commissioner of Corporation, Salem Corporation and the Assistant Commissioner, Ammapettai Zonal Office, Salem Corporation respectively, admit that the structure is unauthorized.

3. In view of the statement made by the learned counsel for respondents 1 to 3 that the structure is unauthorized, they would have to take steps to remove the unauthorized construction and the same is to be done as expeditiously as possible.

With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
