The present Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's application No.706021, which was applied during direct recruitment of special teachers 2012-2016 (Post of Physical Education Teacher and further consider the petitioner's appointment for the post mentioned above under SCA (Schedule Caste Arunthathiyar category), as per Section 2(a) of the Tamil Nadu Arunthathiyars (Special Reservation of seats in Educational Institutions and appointments or posts in the services under the State within the Reservation for the Scheduled Castes) Act, 2009 and G.O.Ms.No.50 dated 9.04.2009 issued by Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare (TD2) Department of Tamilnadu Government and pass appropriate orders.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.
3. When the petition is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had already been appointed as Physical Education Teacher, thereby submitted that she is not pressing the present petition and made an endorsement to that effect. 2/4

Recording the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner that subsequent to the filing of the present Petition, the petitioner was appointed as Physical Education Teacher in the Government School and made an endorsement in the bundle to that effect, the present Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous, as nothing survives for adjudication.
