Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the first respondent to issue Kurumans Scheduled Tribe Community Certificate to the petitioner by considering his application dated 25.05.2017 on the basis of the cultural report on Kurumans sent by the second respondent vide his letter dated 18.02.2015 to the first respondent.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) Seeking a direction to the first respondent to issue Kurumans Scheduled Tribe Community Certificate to the petitioner by considering his application dated 25.05.2017 on the basis of the cultural report on Kurumans sent by the second respondent vide his letter dated 18.02.2015 to the first respondent, the present writ petition has been filed.

2.Though the writ petition has been filed for a larger relief, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that it would be suffice if the petitioner's application dated 25.05.2017 is directed to be considered by the first respondent within a stipulated time.

3.Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents does not have any serious objection for the aforesaid course.

4.Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of directing the first respondent to pass appropriate orders on the application of the petitioner dated 25.05.2017 stated to be pending consideration with the first respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
