ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 3rd respondent to dispose the petitioner's representation dated 12.09.2018, thereby disburse the "Grant" to the petitioner Old Age Home for the Senior Citizens and Destitute Children.
2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner was running a Home for the Senior Citizens and Destitute Children. The Government also disbursed Grant to the House, as per G.O.Ms.No.43 Social Welfare and Nutritious Meal Programme (SW6(1) Department, dated 26.03.2012 and Grant was also disbursed for the year 2012-2013. However, for the period 2013 to 2016, Grant was not sanctioned to the petitioner House. As per the order passed by the District Collector, Perambalur, dated 21.12.2016, the house was closed in respect of the Destitute Children alone, however, they are running the Home for the Senior Citizens. Since the respondents did not sanction Grant for the period 2013 to 2016, the petitioner made a representation to the 3rd respondent on 12.09.2018, which was also followed by several reminders, but no order has been passed so far. Hence, the present writ petition.
3. Considering the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, without going to the merits of the case, the 3rd respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.09.2018 and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the petitioner, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
