ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed to direct the respondents to give police protection to the petitioner.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner brought to the notice of this Court the Discharge Summary issued by Sri Kumaran Multi Speciality Hospital. The said certificate reveals the fact that the petitioner was assaulted and he had sustained multiple injuries. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner the respondent police apart from issuing CSR dated 16.10.2018 have not proceeded to register any FIR. That apart the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is facing serious threat in the hands of the Accused persons.

3. In this regard the petitioner has also made a representation to the Commissioner of Police on 20.10.2018 and the complaint has been forwarded to the Deputy Commissioner, Washermenpet by the Office of the Commissioner on 20.10.2018. Even thereafter no action has been taken on the complaint given by the petitioner.

4. In the facts and circumstances, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to immediately take action on the complaint given by the petitioner in accordance with law.

5. The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above directions.
