ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the Addl. Director General of Police, CBCID, Guindy, Chennai , the 2nd respondent herein to take the investigation himself or have other investigation done by any other suitable investigation officer in accordance with law.

2. Heard both sides and perused the documents available on record.

On considering the facts and circumstance of the case and also considering the arguments made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court is not inclined to transfer the proceedings as sought for by the petitioner. Chennai is directed to complete the investigation in Cr.No. 1807 of 2016 pending on his file and file a final report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The Assistant Commissioner of Police, Pulianthope,Chennai is directed to monitor the investigation done by the 1st respondent and also ensure that the 1st respondent shall complete the investigation within a period of three months.

With the above directions, the present petition is disposed of.
