ORDER

This Court by an order dated 22.11.2018, in Crl.OP.No.26266 of 2018, while disposing the above petition, directed the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Erode to complete the trial within a period of three months.

2. Earlier on 19.11.2019, the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Erode, has sent a letter in D.No.6016/2019 seeking for extension of time to complete the trial and the same was extended. Again, the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Erode, has sent a letter in D.No.1688 of 2020 dated 08.09.2020 stating that due pandemic lockdown in the state, the trial could not be completed within the stipulate time and seeks for extension of time for further two months to complete the trial.

3. Considering the request of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Erode, this Court grants further period of two months to complete the trial from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 21.09.2020 Index: Yes/No Internet: Yes/No rst
