O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to receive the petitioner's application seeking for a transport tourist permit under Rule 82 of the Central Motor Vehicles Rules.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that earlier the petitioner have a Maxi Cab tourist permit, which was expired on 16.08.2016. Thereafter, the petitioner has filed an application under Rule 82, of the Central Motor Vehicle Rules. But till date his application has not been considered by the respondent.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent.

4. Considering the above circumstances, without going into the merits of the case, the respondent is directed to receive the petitioner's application and pass suitable orders on merits in accordance with law within a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
