ORDER

The prayer in this Writ Petition is to direct the 3rd Respondent to release the Petitioner's Vehicle, bearing Reg.No.TN-23-AB-5667, which was seized by the 4th Respondent on 03.09.2018 for the alleged transportation of illegal sand.

2. This court heard the learned counsel on either side and also perused the materials placed on record.

3. According to the learned Additional Government Pleader for the Respondents, a First Information Report has been registered in FIR.No.314, dated 14.12.2018, for the offences https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

under Sections 379 of IPC and 21(1) of the Tamil Nadu Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957, on the file of the Olakkur Police Station, Villupuram District and a copy of the same has also been served to the learned counsel for the Petitioner.

4. Recording the said submissions of the learned Additional Government Pleader and the said First Information Report, this Writ Petition is disposed of, with a liberty to the Petitioner to seek appropriate remedy before appropriate forum. No costs.
