PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records pertaining to the order of the first respondent herein in G.O.(Ms) No.1944, Home (Transport-4) Department, dated 15.10.2018 and quash the same and consequently direct the first respondent herein to relax Rule 30(b) of the Special Rules for the Tamil Nadu Ministerial Service Rules of non completion of 2 years as Assistant in State Transport Authority as on 15.03.2017 and consequently direct the second respondent herein to include the petitioner's name in the tentative inter-se seniority list published in Page No.1 of 4
R.No.24449/R3/2016 (E.O.No.191/2018) dated 23.05.2018 in the appropriate place and to consider the petitioner for promotion as Superintendent for the year 2017-2018 with all consequential service and monetary benefits. ORDER
The Learned counsel for the petitioner circulated a letter dated 24.06.2024 seeking permission of this Court to withdraw this petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect in the Court bundle. 2.
In view of the same, the Writ Petition stands dismissed as withdrawn. The miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. No costs.
