Respondents Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to change the category of the petitioner from "U.R." to "O.B.C." in her application No.40568723 dated 14.02.2018 and consequently direct the respondents to issue a certificate according to the eligibility category of the petitioner. The learned counsel for both sides jointly made a statement that based on the interim order dated 13.11.2018, the petitioner has joined the college, therefore, nothing survives in the writ petition.

Recording the joint statement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Solicitor General for the respondents that the prayer in the writ petition has become infructuous, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, W.M.P.No.34822 of 2018 is closed. No costs.
