By consent of both parties, this Writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.The petitioner has come up with this writ petition seeking direction to the respondents to consider his representation dated 14.10.2018 to survey the properties comprised in SF.NO.10/2B, 10/6, SF.NO.10/4A and 10/4B situated at Sukkampatti Village, Salem District.

3. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 14.10.2018 requesting to survey the properties and to fix the boundary stones. It is also stated that necessary charges have also been paid by the petitioner vide challans dated 18.08.2014 and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

14.07.2017.

Since the petitioner's representation was not considered, the petitioner has come before this Court by way of this writ petition.

4. Heard Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader on behalf of the respondents.

It is the fact that there is a dearth of surveyors in many of the Taluk Offices and there are many petitions and requests as that of the petitioner herein waiting their properties to be surveyed. Hence, the first respondent is directed to have a list of such requests and conduct the survey as per the order of priority. However, any such request for survey of the land shall be done, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and others, if any interested in the matter.

6. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
