ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking police protection for the purpose of getting back the valuables from the shop, which according to the petitioner, has been illegally locked by the landlord of the premises.

2. It is seen from the records that the petitioner is admittedly a tenant in the property. If the property has been illegally locked by the landlord, the petitioner has to necessarily seek his remedy only before the appropriate Civil Court. The police will not have any right to interfere with a dispute of this nature.

3. In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed, and liberty is granted to the petitioner to work out his remedy in accordance with law before the appropriate civil court.
