ORDER
Mr.A.N.Thambidurai, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. The prayer sought for in this writ petition is to direct the first respondent to pass appropriate orders on the Appeal on submitted by the petitioner dated 20.04.2018, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
3. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner submitted an appeal dated 20.04.2018 to first respondent, with regard to pay parity on par with his junior one S.Muthusamy, but the same has not been disposed of till date. Hence, the present writ petition.
4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the respondents would dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner on 20.04.2018, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as any other necessary parties, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
