O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated

16.10.2018 and furnish the copy of the notice issued under Section 4(1) of the Tamil Nadu Acquisition of Land for Industrial Purposes Act.

2.According to the petitioner, the petitioner's lands were acquired by the respondents under the above said act and subsequently he came to know that the Award also came to be passed and the copy of the Award has not been furnished to the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 16.10.2018 to the respondents requesting them to furnish the copy of the Award. But the respondent have not considered the said representation. Hence, he filed the present writ petition.

3.I have heard the rival submissions and perused the materials available on records.

Considering the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, without going into merits of the case, the second respondent is directed to furnish a copy of the award passed in the Land Acquisition Proceedings, to the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
