ORDER

The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking to quash the order dated 13.04.2017 passed by the fourth respondent and for a consequential direction to disburse a sum of Rs.1,10,817/- towards medical expenses incurred by the petitioner, along with interest for the delayed payment.

2. Earlier on 10.02.2026, this Court passed the following order: "Petitioner assails the letter, dated 13.04.2017, issued by fourth respondent. In the said letter, the claim of the petitioner for the reimbursement of Rs.1,10,817/- towards medical expenses has been rejected.

2. Learned counsel for respondent No.4 submits that the said amount will be reimbursed, subject to the petitioner appearing before fourth respondent.

3. In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for fourth respondent, the petitioner is hereby directed to appear before fourth respondent on 16.02.2026 at 11.00 A.M., along with relevant documents in support of his claim.

4. Re-list the matter on 23.02.2026."

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner reported that the petitioner passed away.

4. In view of the above, it is open to the legal heirs of the petitioner to approach the fourth respondent with necessary documents. On such approach, upon verification of the legal heirship and the genuineness of the claim, the fourth respondent is directed to disburse the aforesaid amount to the legal heirs of the deceased petitioner, in accordance with law.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. K.SURENDER, J.
