ORDER

When the matter is taken up for hearing today, learned counsel appearing for the respondents produced a statement showing that the amounts have been settled to the petitioner. Learned counsel for the respondents also submits that in regard to grant of pension to the petitioner, the papers have been forwarded to the competent authority. However, learned counsel appearing for the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ petitioner disputed the quantum and submitted that

according to his instructions, the writ petitioner has to get more amount than what is projected in the proceedings placed before this Court. Further, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondent be directed to disclose the basis of its calculation for arriving at the final figure to the petitioner within a reasonable time so that the petitioner will be in a position to understand the basis of the calculation and the quantum of amount arrived at by the respondent.

2. Accordingly, while closing the contempt petition in view of substantial compliance by the respondent, the respondent is directed to disclose the basis of the calculation for arriving at the final figure to the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
