Admittedly, in this case the petitioner has given a complaint before the Kondalampatti police and a case was registered in Crime No.536 of 2016 against the accused persons. As a counter blast, the accused seems to have given a complaint against the petitioner and the petitioner is being called to the respondent police and is harassed. Therefore, the present petition has been filed.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is in even aware about the nature of the complaint that has been given against this petitioner. Therefore, he would request that the respondent police should give a copy of the complaint to the petitioner in order for the petitioner to know the actual complaint pending against him. 3.This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of, with a direction to the respondent police to give a copy of the complaint to the petitioner. The petitioner shall co-operate for the enquiry and it is made clear that the respondent police https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

should proceed further in accordance with the guidelines given in the Lalita Kumari Vs Government of Uttarpradesh and Others reported in (2014) 2 SCC 1" and should not keep the complaint pending on the enquiry stage for a long time.
