ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus directing the respondents 1, 2 & 4 to conduct the re-match between the Sarojini Vidyalaya School, Moganur, Namakkal District team and Kongu Kalvi Nilayam Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Erode District team, in connection with the Republic Day Namakkal Divisional match, for under 17 years of age of the girls Kho-Kho, based on the representation of the petitioner dated 31.10.2018.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that Mr.J.Vimal Raj was earlier serving in the sixth respondent school, namely, Sarojini Vidyalaya Matriculation School, Mohanur, Namakkal District as a trainer. While so, he cannot be nominated as an Umpire to oversee the match between the fifth and sixth respondent Schools.

3. Since the learned counsel for the petitioner is unable to substantiate with any documentary evidence to show that Mr.J.Vimal Raj at any point of time, before he was nominated as an Umpire, served in the sixth respondent School as a coach or a trainer, this Court is unable to entertain the writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. Consequently, W.M.P.No.35105 of 2018 is also dismissed. No costs. s/d- Assistant Registrar(CS VIII) True Copy Sub-Assistant Registrar ss To
