O R D E R

The present Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to approve the appointment of the petitioner as office assistant with effect from 13.10.2016 by considering the proposal sent by the 4th respondent dated 31.10.2016 or pass any suitable orders.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 and the learned counsel for the 4th respondent.

3. When the petition is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had already been appointed.

4. Recording the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner that subsequent to the filing of the present Petition, the petitioner was appointed, the present Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous, as nothing survives for adjudication. Consequently, connected miscellaneous 2/4

petition is closed. No costs.
