O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the third respondent to conduct enquiry under Section 81 of the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Act, regarding the alleged misappropriation of funds from the fifth respondent-Society.

2. Earlier notice was ordered to the respondents. Today, Mr.Bala Ramesh, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that an enquiry under Section 81 of the Tamil Nadu Co-operatives Societies Act has already been initiated by the third respondent. He has also produced a Xerox copy of the proceedings in Na.Ka.No.1787/2017/Pa.Tho. dated 03.12.2018 issued by the 3rd respondent whereby an Enquiry Officer was appointed to conduct the enquiry. The learned counsel for the respondents further submitted that now the enquiry is in progress.
