The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that there is a land lord tenant dispute between the petitioner and the complainant. The petitioner is a tenant in the property he has not settled the electricity dues. In this regard, the land lord seems to have given a complaint to the police and the respondent police is calling the petitioner for an enquiry.
2. It is seen from the facts of the case that there is a land lord tenant dispute and the parties will have to resolve the same before the appropriate forum. The respondent police will have no role to play in cases of this nature. The respondent police is therefore directed to relegate the parties to the appropriate civil forum in order to resolve their dispute. The respondent police do not harass the petitioner in name of enquiry.
