The learned Government Advocate submitted an instructions issued by the Tahsildar, Avadi, stating that the property, which is described in the present writ petition under the occupation of the writ petitioner is a Reserved Forest and therefore, the Electricity Service Connection cannot be provided and there is a statutory prohibition for granting permission for electricity service connection. This apart, the Reserved Forest areas are to be protected under the provisions of the Act. 2.At this juncture, the learned counsel for the writ petitioner has chosen to withdraw the writ petition and the writ petitioner is permitted to withdraw the writ petition. 3.Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed as withdrawn. No costs.
