Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the Memorandum of Grounds in CRL A.823/2018 on the file of the High Court, the High Court will be pleased to suspend the sentence imposed on the petitioner by the judgment dated 01.02.2017 in S.C.No.144 of 2015 on the file of the Additional District and Sessions Court, Dharmapuri convicting the appellant and sentenced pending disposal of the above CRL A.823/2018. Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the Memorandum of Grounds in CRL A.823/2018 on the file of the High Court and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.I.C.VASUDEVAN,Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.R.RAVICHANDRAN, GOVERNMENT ADVOCATE [CRL.SIDE] on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed to suspend the sentence imposed on the petitioner under judgment dated 01.02.2017 in S.C.No.144 of 2015 on the file of the Additional District and Sessions Court, Dharmapuri.

3. Since the petitioner is in custody for 2 years, this Court is not inclined to grant suspension of sentence to the petitioner.
