ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 341, 294(b), 323, 326-A and 506(i) of IPC in Crime No.571 of 2018, seek anticipatory bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that due to a wordy quarrel, the petitioner along with another accused abused the de-facto complainant with filthy language and assaulted him with wooden log and also threatened him with dire consequences. Hence, the complaint.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that it is a case in counter and on the date of occurrence, the defacto complainant along with four rowdy elements came to the shop of the petitioner's father and attacked him, for which the petitioner lodged a complaint against the de-facto complainant in Crime No.571 of 2018. As against the said complaint, the de-facto complainant lodged a counter and false complaint against the petitioner.
4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that it is a case in counter and in a wordy quarrel, both parties have attacked each other.

5. Taking note of the facts and circumstances, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner with certain conditions. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on their appearance before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvottiyur and on their executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only), with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police as and when required for interrogation. The petitioner shall comply with the conditions stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C. scrupulously.
6. The petitioner shall appear before the concerned Magistrate within a period of 15 days from the date on which the order copy made ready, failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail shall stand dismissed.
