ORDER

Mr.Bala Ramesh, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner has come forward with this writ petition seeking a mandamus, to direct the respondents 2 and 3 to implement the directions issued by the 1st respondent on 20.07.2018, for disbursement of his retirement benefits within a stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

3. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner made a representation dated 16.08.2018 to the third respondent, for disbursement of his retirement benefits, pursuant to the direction of the first respondent dated 20.07.2018, but, the same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the representation of the petitioner would be considered on merits and in accordance with law.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court, with out going in to the merits, directs the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 16.08.2018 and pass appropriate orders as per the directions of the first respondent dated 20.07.2018 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
