PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to call for the record and quash the proceedings in F.I.R No.134 of 2016, on the file of the Central Crime Branch-II, Chennai and quash the same.

O R D E R
This petition has been filed seeking to quash the F.I.R in Crime No.134 of 2016, pending on the file of the 1st respondent police.
2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the 1st petitioner and the defacto-complainant are brothers and they were running a partnership business. There was a dispute among the parties, which resulted the 2nd respondent giving a complaint before the respondent police. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the complainant has already received the entire amount.
3.The ground that has been raised by the petitioners cannot be gone into by this Court at this stage. All these materials will https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
have to be taken into account only by the 1st respondent in the course of investigation. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the investigation at this stage. 4.This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of, with a direction to the 1st respondent police to complete the investigation and file a final report or closure report as the case may be, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
