Respondents Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Habeas Corpus to call for the records of the detention made in D.O.No.44/2018 C-2 dated 09.10.2018 passed by the District Collector and District Magistrate, Thiruvannamalai District, Thiruvannamalai, the second respondent herein and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenue before this Court and set the detenue Tmt.Malar, Wife of Pandu, aged 44 years, now confined in Special Prison for Women, Vellore and set her at liberty. ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by M.SATHYANARAYANAN, J) It is represented that the impugned order of detention passed against the detenue has been revoked by the Advisory Board and subsequent to it, the Government vide order in G.O.Rt.No.5281 (Home, Prohibition & Excise (XI) Department dated 03.12.2018, revoked the order of detention dated 09.10.2018, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
pending against the detenue and she was directed to be released forthwith. The said Government Order is produced before the Court and the same is taken on file.
