ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the respondents to correct the serious error of showing the complainant name as Priya, instead of the complainant name M.Jeeva, in the FIR No.12/2017 dated 07.08.2017 and C.C.No.93 of 2018, pending on the file of the Judicial Magistrate I, Pollachi.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner has brought to the notice of this Court that the actual name of the petitioner has not been properly reflected in the final report. It has been shown as Priya instead of Jeeva. The learned counsel would submit that even in the FIR, the name of the petitioner has been shown as Priya and the petitioner never carried the name Priya. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor does not seriously dispute the fact. He only submitted that it was projected as if Priya also had another name Jeeva that is the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

reason in the final report, the name has been shown as Priya alias Jeeva.

4.In order to avoid this confusion, the name of the petitioner shall be shown only as M.Jeeva in the entire proceedings. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
