Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to extend the time by another three weeks for surrendering and executing the sureties before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Cuddalore as per the order passed in Crl.O.P.No.23769 of 2018 dated 25.10.2018. Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.K.KANNAN, Advocate for the petitioner, and of MR. M.PRABHAVATHI, Additional Public Prosecutor, on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- (*)"This petition is filed praying to extend the time by another three weeks for surrendering and executing the sureties before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Cuddalore, as per the order passed in Crl.O.P.No.23769 of 2018 dated 25.10.2018.
2. Heard both sides.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that since the petitioner's husband was arrested and remanded to judicial custody, she was not able to produce sureties and further she was not able to raise Rs.50,000/- to be deposited into the Crime number before the Judicial Magistrate-II, Cuddalore. Therefore, she is not able to comply with the condition imposed by this Court dated
25.10.2018 within the time stipulated by this Court. Hence, time may be extended to comply with the condition.
4. Considering the above submission, time is extended by a further period of two weeks from the date on which the order copy is made ready to deposit a sum of Rs.50,000/- into the Crime number before the Judicial Magistrate-II, Cuddalore and for surrendering and also for executing the sureties before the Judicial Magistrate-II, Cuddalore. Accordingly, this petition is ordered."
