By consent of both parties, the Writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner has come up with this writ petition seeking a direction to the respondent to consider his representation dated 15.10.2018.

3. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 15.10.2018 to the Tahsildar to cancel all the pattas issued in respect of the property in question and prayed to issue patta in favour of the petitioner. It is the contention of the petitioner that the Tahsildar, without conducting proper enquiry, has dismissed the prayer of the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner has made an appeal / representation to the respondent herein on 15.10.2018, but, the same is yet to be disposed of by the respondent. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.

4. Heard Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader on behalf of the respondent.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the cases and the submissions made on either side, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the representation, directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation/appeal dated 15.10.2018 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as any of the interested parties, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
