Prayer: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider and pass order on the petitioner's representation dated 15.03.2017 and 17.11.2017 and grant Patta to petitioner for the property situated at No.42, Old Survey No:45/4, New Survey No.52/4 at Eluppanthangal Village, Kilpennathur Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District to an extent of 1.14 Acres.

By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
2. This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 15.03.2017 and 17.11.2017 and to grant Patta to the petitioner for the property situated at No.42, Old Survey No:45/4, New Survey No.52/4 at Eluppanthangal Village, Kilpennathur Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District to an extent of 1.14 Acres.
3. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner made a representation to the third respondent on 15.03.2017, seeking to transfer patta in respect of the aforesaid property. Since, no action was taken, he made another https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
application to the respondents through "Manu Neethi Naal Thittam", on 17.11.2017. As the same also did not evoke any response, the petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition seeking for the aforesaid relief.
4. Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents would submit that the third respondent, who is the competent authority, shall consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 17.11.2017, within a stipulated period.
5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made on either side, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the representation, directs the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.11.2017 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, as well as any of the interested parties, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
