Respondents PRAYER : Writ Petition filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents particularly the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representations dated 25.05.2018 as per Sec 36 of Wakf Act Amendment Act 2013 for registering the properties particularly in S.No.467/3 to an extent of 2.98.5 Ares in Puthanoor Village, Alandur Post, Sankarapuram Taluk, Villupuram District before 1st respondent.

By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The petitioner has come up with this writ petition seeking a direction to the first respondent to register the properties particularly in S.No.467/3 measuring to an extent of 2.98.5 ares situated at Puthanoor Village, Alandur Post, Sankarapuram Taluk, Villupuram District, as per Sec 36 of Wakf https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Act Amendment Act 2013 on the basis of his representation dated 25.05.2018.

3. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 25.05.2018 claiming the relief as prayed in this Writ Petition, but, the same is yet to be disposed of by the first respondent. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

4. Heard Mr.G.Mohammed Aseef, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.05.2018 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as any of the interested parties, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
