By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The petitioner has come up with this writ petition seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.09.2018 and issue patta in his favour for his land to an extent of one acre comprised in Survey No. Old 714, New No.1102 of Sivanmalai Village, Kangeyam Taluk, Thiruppur District.

3. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner has submitted representation dated 25.09.2018 for issuance of patta, but, the same is yet to be disposed of by the respondents. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Heard, Mr.R.Manibarathi, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Shanmugasundar, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made on either side, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the representations, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.09.2018 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioner and the persons concerned and also affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner, as well as any of the interested parties, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.

7. Post 'for compliance' on 02.01.2019.
