This petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent police to take further action in Crime No.898 of 2018.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that based on the direction given by this Court, the respondent police registered an FIR in Crime No.898 of 2018 for an offence under Section 406 and 420 of IPC. The learned counsel would submit that the accused person was arrested and the document in question has already been seized by the respondent police. However, there is no progress in the investigation and therefore, the present petition has been filed before this Court.
3. In the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation and file a final report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
4. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
