Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to suspend the sentence imposed on the petitioner in conviction Judgment in SC No.248 of 2013 dated 20.09.2018 passed by the Hon'ble VI Additional Sessions Judge at Chennai and enlarge the petitioner on bail pending disposal of the Crl.A.No.754 of 2018. Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.E.ABDUL RAHIMON, Advocate for the petitioner, and of MR. V.SARATHA DEVI, Govt. Advocate ( Crl. Side), on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This miscellaneous petition has been filed seeking to suspend the sentence imposed on the petitioner by judgment dated 20.09.2018 in S.C.No.248 of 2013 by the learned VI Additional Sessions Judge, Chennai, and enlarge the petitioner on bail pending disposal of the above criminal appeal.
2. Heard both sides.
3. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, this miscellaneous petitions is allowed and the substantive sentence of imprisonment alone is suspended and the petitioner is released on bail on condition that the petitioner shall deposit a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand only) to the credit of S.C.No.248 of 2013 on the file of the learned VI Additional Sessions Judge, Chennai, and further the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned VI Additional https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
