ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] Seeking a direction to the respondent to produce petitioner's daughter Preetha, aged 17 years, D/o. S.Baskaran, before this Court and to hand over to the petitioner, the present Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed.

2. There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner.

3. The petitioner is the father of the detenue, who attained majority at the time of missing on 30.10.2018.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the investigation reveals that the detenue has eloped with one Prithiviraj. Inquires have been made with her friends, college mates and the staff pertaining to the detenue and as well as the said Prithiviraj. The efforts are still on to trace them.

5. Inasmuch as the investigation is still going on coupled with the fact that the detenue has attained majority, we are not inclined to keep this petition pending any longer and the Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed. As and when the detenue is secured, she should be produced before the jurisdictional Magistrate.
