O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by M.M.Sundresh,J.) When the contempt petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Assistant Solicitor General appearing for the respondent has produced a copy of the proceedings of the respondent dated 05.09.2019 in No.R11017/35/2019-L&M for the purported compliance of the order passed by this Court in W.A.No.1502 of 2018 dated 18.07.2018.

2. Paragraph 3 of the order reads thus:

"3.Since, sufficient opportunities have already been given to the society and the Chief Executive/Chairman of the society has not appeared before the Central Registrar, it appears that the society is not functioning at its registered address and therefore, it has been decided to initiate winding up of the society under the provision of the MSCS Act, 2002 and rules made thereunder. If any objection for the same, it may be brought to the notice of the Central Registrar within 15 days from the date of this advertisement uploaded in the office website i.e.www.mscs.dac.gov.in."

3. In view of the same, the contempt petition stands closed. It is needless to state that the aforesaid authority shall proceed further and take appropriate action to initiate winding up proceedings.
