ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.MANIKUMAR, J) Petitioner has sought for a writ of mandamus, directing the Government of India, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, New Delhi, 4th respondent herein, and the Central Board of Film Certification, Sastri Bhavan, Chennai, 5th respondent herein to revoke the Censor Certificate for public exhibition, issued to the Tamil Feature Film SARKAR, produced by Sun Pictures / Sun TV Network Ltd, the 6th respondent herein.

2. On this day, when the matter came up for hearing, petitioner-in-person submitted that some of the objectional scenes have been withdrawn and the movie has been screened. In the light of the subsequent development, he seeks permission to withdraw the writ petition. He has also made an endorsement to that effect.

3. Placing on record the above, instant writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs.
