This Writ petition is filed seeking for a prohibition, prohibiting the respondents 1 to 3 from entertaining the private cause of the respondent No.4 and thereby, illegally using the Government machinery by organizing the book release meeting schedule to be held on 25.11.2018 by 3.00 p.m. at Peraringar Anna Hall, International Institute of Tamil Studies, 2nd Main Road, CPT Campus, Tharamani, Chennai-600 113.

3. Considering the fact that the relief sought for is in respect of the book release scheduled on 25.11.2018 and in view of the fact that the same is now lapsed, the Writ petition is disposed of as infructuous, without expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
