Respondents PRAYER: This Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to consider the first petitioner's representation dated 09.07.2018 for cancellation of the manipulated Patta granted in the name of the 3rd respondent and pass order for issuance of Patta in the names of the petitioners in respect of Survey No.7/2A2A to an extent of 25 cents out of 51 cents (21.00 Ares) situated at No.61, Chinna Obulapuram Village, Gummudipoondi Taluk, Thiruvallur District.

Heard, Mr.R.Velu, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.E.Balamurugan, the learned Special Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

2.By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

The petitioner has come up with this writ petition seeking a direction to the second respondent to consider his representation dated 09.07.2018 requesting to cancel the manipulated Patta bearing No.360, which stands in the name of Marimuthu, who is the third respondent herein, measuring to an extent of 25 cents comprised in S.No.7/2A2A situated at No.61, China Obulapuram Village, Gummudipoondi Taluk, Tiruvallur District.

4. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 09.07.2018 claiming the relief as prayed for in this Writ Petition, but, the same is yet to be disposed of by the second respondent. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made on either side, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the representation, directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.07.2018 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and the third respondent, as well as any of the interested parties, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
